what sound effects did jimi hendrix use?
Q. i own a digiech rp50 a strat and a blues junior amp and i want to learn how to tweak what i have to play led zeppelin and hendrix. Can any one help me out with what kind of sound i get if i mess with the treble bass and middle. And of couse answer my topic question of what effects hendrix used through his guitar amps lol please?

A. Jimi used a wah and I believe a lot of people use a chorus pedal to help duplicate his sound. The RP50 doesn't have a pedal so it may have some kind of 'autowah' effect. I have an RPX400 and I got some good patches from the digitech forum that make a good Hendrix sound. Go to the digitech page and look at the forum for the RP50 if you haven't already. There may be something there.
